3X MAGNIFIER
The 3X magnifier lens nearly triples the range of the AN/PVS-7 or AN/PVS-14 under all light conditions. Also, it can be used as a stand-alone 3X monocular during daylight operations. The lightweight magnifier (180 grams) stores easily in a protective pouch, similar in size to the current ammo pouch. The 3X magnifier provides a field of view of 11.5 degrees.

The face mask assembly is designed to maximize comfort as well as stability. It accepts either the AN/PVS-7 or AN/PVS-14 system and correctly positions them in front of the user eyes. The face mask straps assembly can be configured with or without a chin cup. Functionality includes fore/aft adjustment, line-of-sight tilt adjustment and flip-up/flip-down.

MAGNETIC COMPASS
ITT magnetic compass displays compass bearings directly through the night vision goggle. The compass is activated by a momentary contact switch and provides ample illumination at high-light levels, yet is not so bright as to degrade low-light level imagery. 10-year, non-replaceable lithium battery.
