Zistos is a privately owned,
small business specializing in portable video inspection
products that are in use throughout the law enforcement,
fire and rescue, military, corrections and industrial
sectors. More than simply designing and marketing video-based
products, Zistos is adept at developing and implementing
complete vision solutions that not only increase job
effectiveness but also enhance the safety of those who
by their occupation are exposed to potentially dangerous
situations. Zistos has a unique advantage in its proprietary VisionFlex™ technology—a
modular, “socket set” design philosophy that
renders our video inspection systems instantly adaptable
to any situation and fully upgradeable upon the release
of new products and accessories. Customers recognize
the inherent value of VisionFlex™ and
prefer Zistos over less flexible and more costly alternatives.
All design and final manufacturing are performed in-house,
ensuring tight control over both product execution and
final outgoing quality.

The Zistos line of Portable Video Systems are designed
to be easily deployed and user friendly. The systems
are battery powered allowing the user to operate
the equipment indoors, outdoors and view underwater
images. All systems are rugged and lightweight.
Each basic system consists of 3 components – a
portable Display, a flexible Camera Body and a Camera
Head. Attachable poles and wands allow the user to
perform a variety of inspections (i.e. vehicle, cargo,
security sweeps). This system can grow with the user’s
need or budget. All components are interchangeable,
allowing the user to select the Display, Camera Body
and Camera Head appropriate for the task, whether
it be a search, covert, surveillance, industrial
inspection or emergency rescue. A variety of Camera
Bodies and Camera Heads are available with different
features, many of which are submersible and self-illuminating.
Zistos offers a wireless video option, so others
can monitor the search/inspection in progress. With
the WPD-15 as the receiver, several people can monitor
the search/inspection at the same time at a “base
station.” With the TagAlong portable monitor,
a second team member can view the same image (wireless
video).
